I have one very lucky niece that got a IPhone for Christmas. I also have a sister-in-law who can't live without her IPhone. I would love one but it just isn't in the budget right now, but I'll put it on my wish list for someday. When I get one I will need all the little things to go with it like a case.

A hot new product for 2010 is personalized cases. Sound like something I would love and would buy as a gift. The personalized Apple & BlackBerry cases are only $5. They are very stylish and offers great protection. They are available in multiple colors, for many different models and the personalization is FREE. Yes you read right I wrote FREE. It even get's better there is also FREE shipping. 2 FREES (personalization and shipping) and the case is only $5.

Apple cases come in resilient soft silicone rubber or plastic while BlackBerry cases come in the silicone design for most popular models! The backside of the case can be engraved with BOTH a logo and two lines of text. Again, let us repeat … you can engrave a logo for ONE piece … AND engrave text. Absolutely no setup charge and no order minimums. Order one case, engrave a logo, engrave your name and have it shipped for $5!

Sure sounds like a great deal to me. I think I'm going to order one for both my neice and sister-in-law. What great gifts these will make.

Soft silicone or plastic exterior
Wrap-on design
No need to remove to use buttons or take pictures
Engraving won’t chip or rub off

Engrave your name and school logo on your iPod touch. Maybe standardize on a company color, branding and identification on your employee’s BlackBerry cases. Or maybe just make a cool design and engrave your name beneath it. Personalized Apple & BlackBerry Smartphone cases also make fantastic gifts. These cases sell for $20+ in retail stores and they’re not personalized like ours! Talk about an incredible perceived value for such a low cost.

Fast 1-3 business day turnaround times, no setup costs, no minimum order quantity and again ... free engraving & free shipping.

Here are the models that these cases fit on.

I'm Back!!!!!

Did anyone notice I was missing? I have been out of touch for a little over a week. I was on vacation or I guess it's called a staycation now a days. I was off work but didn't go anywhere. I wanted to get a bunch of computer stuff done, like work on my blog by changing it up a little bit. Well that didn't happen. We were having more computer problems so I didn't get on the computer. One of our biggest problems is our Internet service. Our usage is limited. We (I really mean the kids) had used all our time up and we still had a week to go. They charge us big buck if we use the Internet past our time and we just can't afford that. So no computer for a week for us. Our time for each month starts up again today. That is where I was and now I'm back and I'm so happy to be in touch again.

I hope everyone had a wonderful NYE. We ended up going to dinner and a movie with family. After that we headed over to the bowling alley where our youngest son was with friends. We made it there just minutes after the New Year started. We had a wonderful evening. I'm wishing that 2010 ends up much better then 2009. I have to say that 2009 was bad enough that I'm very happy it's over. I'm just looking ahead for better things.

Critter Problems?

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Woodstream. All opinions are 100% mine.

We live in the country on a little lake. We do have neighbors we are not on acreages. Next to our house we have a old unkempt house with many animals (rodents) living in it. No it is not abandoned. A person lives in this house with her two dogs. There are so many animals living in the attic of this house that she can't sleep at night. Most of the animals are nocturnal and are very busy during the night. I haven't been in this house in many years but I have heard that it smells from the animal dropping too. Because the animals have a place to live they stay around the area. They in turn get into every ones garbage, poop on our deck and just plan make a mess.

We are animal lovers and really don't want to hurt any of these animals. We have trapped several raccoons. With a old cage that was very scary for us and the animal. We then took them what we thought as far away but I think it wasn't far enough and they were able to come back.

Everyone had dogs and cats in this area so poison is out of the question. I would be sick if I killed someones beloved pet. But we really need to get rid of some of these raccoons from around here.

When I don't know what to do I go to the Internet and find answers to my questions. I wanted to know about Animal Trapping Tips. We needed help.

We found some interesting information on Havahart Animal Traps. There are Havahart Easy Set Large Animal Trap and Havahart Easy Set Small Animal Trap. Both of these traps are constructed of sturdy rust-resistant wire mesh with steel reinforcements for long life. Mesh openings are smaller than other traps of comparable size to prevent escapes and stolen bait.

The trap we used we had to put our hand down in front of the cage to open it then run like a crazy person. Just in case the animals came after us. With the Havahart cages the release lever is located at the top of the trap so there is a galvanized steel barrier between the animal and you. They are also very easy to set.

I think this will make it easier for us and the animals we end up trapping. If you too have a critter problem please go check out the Havahart traps.

Tuna

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of HealthyTuna.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have 4 boys and they seem to me to be pretty normal. They each are their own person and have their own strengths and weaknesses. When I was pregnant with each of them I read everything I could to make sure I was doing the right things for my babies. Between my oldest and youngest is 10 years. There was a big difference between what you should be doing when you were pregnant between the two. I now have a niece that is pregnant and it sounds like everything has changed again. I guess everyday there are doctors out there doing research and learning more about how what a mother eat, breaths even does effects their unborn baby.

I was reading about mothers eating seafood when they are pregnant and breast feeding. I remember when I was was pregnant that you shouldn't eat fish because many of the fish have to much mercury in them. I guess they put all fish in the same category at that time. While it's true that pregnant women should stay away from fish high in mercury (shark, mackerel, swordfish, tilefish), it is actually SMART to eat seafood during pregnancy. Fish like Tuna is very good for you when you are pregnant. This is one of things I was reading about this:

Authors: Emily Oken, et al.
Harvard Medical School
Journal: American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, September 2008
Summary: Researchers followed over 25,000 Danish mother/child pairs to determine the overall effect of maternal fish intake during pregnancy on child development. Mothers were interviewed about how much fish they ate, and then about their children’s developmental milestones like crawling and putting words together. Compared with women who ate the least fish, women with the highest fish intake (2 ounces per day on average) had children 25% more likely to have higher developmental scores at 6 months and almost 30% more likely to have higher scores at 18 months.

I don't know about you but that sound very interesting and something that would play a big part in what I ate when I was pregnant. I love fish and right now I eat fish regularly because it is said to improve your brains memory. I also love it!

One of my favorite fish is tuna. I love tuna sandwiches, tuna steaks and of course tuna casserole. I'm very happy to find out that tuna is so good for you no matter what age you are. Check out healthy tuna to read more about the pro of eating tuna.

Birthday Party

On the 19th we had a family birthday party for 2 of my boys. I have one son who has a birthday 10 days before Christmas and one 10 days after Christmas. They haven't had a birthday party since they were little boys. It's just such a busy time of year. This year they are turning 18 and 20 so I wanted to do a little something to celebrate. We had a very fun day with our wonderful family. In the picture above there is the birthday boys along with some photo bombers. This is something fun we like to do to each other. It can be really funny sometimes and very silly.

How Wheat Works

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Wheat Food Council. All opinions are 100% mine.

I found this very interesting. Their is a web site out there that tells you all about wheat.

How Wheat Works is an interactive, online multimedia program that delivers a farm-to-fork education on wheat, enabling a better understanding of its nutritional value.

I know I eat many things with wheat in it, cereal, bread and crackers just to mention a couple. I knew there was wheat in these items but I didn't know very much about how the wheat went from the fields to my table. Go to How Wheat Works to plant your own wheat fields and to find out a ton of information about the different types of wheat, where it's grown, how long it takes to grown and much much more. Each of the program’s four phases – growth, harvest, milling/baking and the grocer’s aisle - takes just a few minutes to complete, while the program spans the course of four days.

Activity suggestions at the end of each phase allow participants to extend their learning experience through preparing wheat-based recipes, exploring wheat grown in their area through our state wheat commission member sites and viewing harvest videos from “America’s Heartland.” I have only completed phase 1 but I'm really looking forward to the up coming phases and the recipes.

If you have kid's I'm sure they would enjoy learning and having fun too. Check out http://www.wheatfoods.org/

When you sign up and participate the Council will donate two pounds of flour, up to 90,000 pounds, to Operation Homefront, a non-profit that provides assistance to needy U.S. troops and their families.

This donation is made possible by our members at ADM and ConAgra, two of the world’s largest millers.

How Wheat Works is sponsored by Wheat Foods Council. At the Wheat Foods Council They believe that teaching people how a whole or enriched grain food comes to be can shed new light on wheat nutrition, resulting in informed food choices. I totally agree with this. I sure have learned about wheat with this program.

Book Review - Rogue by Danielle Steel

Being married to Blake Williams had been an amazing adventure for Maxine. Brilliant, charismatic, and wholly unpredictable, he made millions and headlines as a dot.com entrepreneur. But his work and his never-ending quest for fun kept him on the move, far away from Maxine and his family. For five years, Blake and Maxine have worked out an odd but amicable divorce, with friendly visits, a yacht that he lends her every summer, and three children they both adore. Blake enjoys his glove-trotting lifestyle while Maxine raises their kids and pursues her work as a world-renowned expert on childhood trauma and adolescent suicide. Then everything changes....

All Daneille Steels book have basically the same story. I like them because they always end up good, they are light reads and I don't have to think much. This book is very good it that is what your are looking for. I enjoyed reading this book.
